In appearance, the interactive wireframe is
very similar to the regular wireframe with the exception that the interactive wireframe will contain only the
graphical layout of each page. The distinctive quality of the
interactive wireframe is that it is viewed through a web browser and the
navigational elements on each page are active and clicking a link or form
element will direct the user to the appropriate wireframe. This tool
is very helpful during user acceptance and usability testing to evaluate
the functionality of a site without having to build out the entire site
first.
