Portfolio: Cookbook Guide (www.cookbookguide.com)

Challenge
 Cookbook Guide founders wanted an easy to use system that allowed people to purchase a consolidated index of all their current cookbooks and magazines. The goal was to develop an optimized database structure for the indexed cookbooks, design a clean and simple front end for users, output the index as a dynamic PDF file and develop a comprehensive administration function to build and maintain database content.

Solution
 In coordination with the design team, a simple and clean interface was developed. This interface allows for flexibility without an excessive amount of options or frivolous information. After researching numerous cookbook structures, an optimized database architecture was designed and built. Ecommerce was configured using Paypal, along with its automated reporting and instant payment notification system. The entire application was developed using the .NET architecture.
